infinity … and a road

Infinity (symbolically represented by ∞) refers to several distinct concepts – usually linked to the idea of “without end” – which arise in philosophy, mathematics, and theology.[1] The word comes from the Latin infinitas or “unboundedness.”

Pūrṇam adaḥ pūrṇam idam
Pūrṇāt pūrṇam udacyate
Pūrṇasya pūrṇam ādāya
Pūrṇam evāvasiṣyate.

That is whole, this is whole
From the whole, the whole arises[3]
When the whole is taken from the whole
The whole still will remain — Isha Upanishad.
